Visit to Ptcul

Department of electrical and electronics engineering has organized a visit to Power transmission corporation of Uttarakhand (PTCUL) on nov 2 nd 2022.the visit was organized for students of B.Tech (EN) & B.Tech (ET) 3 rd Year. Total 21 students of 3rd Year B.Tech (EN) & B.Tech (ET) along with two faculty members of COER, Uttarakhand visited PTCUL, Roorkee. We left our college at 9:45 am and reached PTCUL by 10:30 am.
We visited PTCUL and learn about relay control and we also saw auto transformer i.e., current transformer and potential transformer and we came to know about lightning arrester. Student get knowledge about various electrical equipment in transmission such as Current Transformer, Potential Transformer Circuit Breakers, Relays, Buses. etc
