Students are introduced to a wide range of common courses that set the foundation for the more branch-intensive courses to come. The end of the year sees students take a long summer break of two and a half months that they may utilise by taking up independent internships or NGO work.
The second year is academically very rigorous for students. Students are taught their Compulsory Disciplinary Courses which go in depth and explore the finer points of the branch of their choice. Laboratory courses are more intensive than ever with numerous evaluation components to complement the lecture classes. After 3rd semester students will get a break of 10-15 days, in which they do their small projects independently. Some training sessions are organised on campus for students which are industry specific.

Laboratory courses are more intensive than ever with numerous evaluation components to complement the lecture classes. Projects and design assignments test the application skills of each student. After 5th semester students will get a break of 10-15 days, in which they do their projects independently. The project after 5th semester is mandatory and would be graded on.
In these semesters, Students remain on campus and take a number of value added programs. With the flexibility of taking courses from across branches, these courses allow students to explore their interests. The start of this semester is with a \2 week long Job Fair in which students are prepared for the upcoming placement season. Mock Interviews, Group Discussions, Resume Building and Technical Training are conducted for all students which are mandatory to attend. As soon as I entered my 6th semester, I started preparing for placements. My college also knew that due to the pandemic, students need extra attention. They organised various technical and personality development programs, and placement-specific training, which helped us a lot.
