Post Basic BSc Nursing (P.B.B.Sc nursing )

Post Basic BSc Nursing (PBBSc) is a 2-year undergraduate course that teaches higher-level nursing in depth. The curriculum transforms students into industry-trained professionals who have a thorough awareness of nursing’s philosophy, aims, and obligations. We have covered the entire syllabus for post-basic BSc nursing in this.


2 years duration


• Passed the Higher Secondary or Senior Secondary or Intermediate or 10+2 or an equivalent examination recognized by the university for this purpose. Those who have done 10+1 in or before 1986, will be eligible for admission.
• Obtained a certificate in General Nursing and Midwifery and registered as R.N.R.M. with the State Nurses Registration Council. A male nurse, trained before the implementation of the new integrated course besides being registered as a nurse with State Nurses Registration Council, shall produce evidence of training approved by Indian Nursing Council for a similar duration in lieu of midwifery in any one of the following areas:
1. O.T. Techniques
2. Ophthalmic Nursing
3. Leprosy Nursing
4. TB Nursing
5. Psychiatric Nursing
6. Neurological and Neuro surgical Nursing
7. Community Health Nursing
8. Cancer Nursing
9. Orthopedic Nursing
• Candidates shall be medically fit.
• Students shall be admitted once in a year.


After completing the degree course she/he can work in the following areas.
