COER University offers the Diploma in Computer Science & Engineering program. Duration of the Course is 3 years. The Objective of the course is to provide training to the potential candidates to become IT professionals. Students of Computer Science & Engineering Program are meant to study the design of hardware and software systems including communications systems, and devices. The focus of this program is on the design, development, implementation, support and management of computer-based software applications and computer hardware.

Eligibility Criteria 


  • The minimum qualification is 10th / Matric pass.
  • ITI, +2 with Mathematics/ ISC pass or PCM 12th pass/ +2 Vocational Course pass students can get direct admission in 2nd year (Lateral Entry).

The Department offers a Three-year Diploma program in Computer Science and Engineering divided into six semesters. The program is approved by University Grant Commission (UGC), Delhi.





PEO 1: To equip the students with skills and latest updated so that they can work and contribute to the continuously changing landscape of IT Industry.

PEO 2: To provide research oriented education with knowledge of state-of-art analytical and experimental tools to enable students to pursue higher studies in institutions of repute in India and abroad.

PEO 3: To inculcate culture of professionalism, ethical conduct, team work with good communication skills to enable the students to be successful in their career and enable them to launch start-ups in their chosen field.

PO1 : Basic and Discipline specific knowledge: Apply knowledge of basic mathematics, science and engineering fundamentals and engineering specialization to solve the engineering problems.

PO2 : Problem analysis: Identify and analyse well-defined engineering problems using codified  standard methods.

PO3 : Design/development of solutions: Design solutions for well-defined technical problems and assist with the design of systems components or processes to meet specified needs. 

PO4 : Engineering Tools, Experimentation and Testing: Apply modern engineering tools and appropriate technique to conduct standard tests and measurements. 

PO5 : Engineering practices for society, sustainability and environment: Apply appropriate technology in context of society, sustainability, environment and ethical practices.

PO6: Project Management: Use engineering management principles individually, as a team member or a leader to manage projects and effectively communicate about well-defined engineering activities.

PO7 : Life-long learning: Ability to analyse individual needs and engage in updating in the context of technological changes.

PSO 1: Students will have ability to adapt to new technologies and apply their knowledge effectively in a rapidly evolving industry.

PSO 2: The students will be able to use programming, database, networking and web development concepts for developing solutions for real-life problems.
