OVERVIEW

College of Engineering

The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering was established in 1999 to meet the growing requirement of engineers in Electrical and Electronics disciplines. Since its commencement, the primary objective of the departments has been to impart quality education, training and research in various areas of Electrical engineering. The department endeavor to produce confident professionals tuned to real time working environment. The department offers excellent academic environment with a team of highly qualified faculty members to inspire the students to develop their technical skills and inculcate the spirit of team work in them. The strength of the department is highly motivated students who understand the dynamics of the industry and hone their skills accordingly.

 B.Tech First Year 

Intermediate or equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics

B.Tech (Lateral Entry) Second Year 

Candidates, who have qualified UKSEE examination on merit basis and have passed B.Sc. examination with Mathematics as one of the subject and securing minimum 60% marks in Diploma in Engineering or Equivalent Examination, only are eligible for direct admission in second year.
