Publications

Consistent and diverse research and development (R&D) activities are crucial to a well-rounded academic life. To this end, the initiatives of University of Engineering and Technology, Roorkee are always in line with this objective – we pursue knowledge through various programs aimed at developing and training highly skilled and technically adept graduates.
Research activities are conducted collaboratively in our Expert Research Groups and at the UETR funded Centres of Excellence, with much of our research activities being sponsored by the government, along with various industries themselves. Therefore, students and faculty are encouraged to write research papers and file patents, while being backed by our intellectual property rights cell and funded through the university itself.
UETR’s research vision and strategy leans towards advancing knowledge, improving our world and shaping the future. Therefore, multi-disciplinary research is key to address the diverse, complex and demanding problems of today’s society – scientific and technological innovation has always created social and economic transformation.
